Norman Regional Health System is in the midst of a mega-expansion. NRHS kicked off their Inspire Health Plan in 2019 and has already completed their first new building. The free standing emergency room, dubbed Norman Regional Nine, opened in 2022 in southeast Norman (Highway 9 and South Classen). Construction at the Norman Regional HealthPlex at Interstate 35 and Tecumseh Road is underway. Finally, the Porter Health Village and a standalone Behavioral Health hospital will be constructed on the historic Porter Campus.
