The Diner gets revived for Food Network program

Earlier this month, crews from the new Food Network show American Diner Revival visited Norman and gave one of our most beloved restaurants a make-over. Led by celebrity hosts Ty Pennington and Amanda Freitag, local volunteers helped replace the flooring, paint and refresh the furniture at the the Diner in downtown Norman. A large crowd gathered on Friday afternoon for the grand reveal to welcome the Amspacher family back to their revived restaurant. The program will air on Friday, May 22 at 9:30 PM, but you don't have to wait for the show to see the results, go see it in person in Downtown Norman. Don't worry, our beloved Diner still serves the same menu featuring hearty portions of classic American and Tex-Mex favorites and the infamous fish is still prominently mounted on the wall.

Located at 213 E. Main Street, the Diner is open Monday through Friday from 6:30AM to 2:00PM and Saturday and Sunday from 7:00AM to 2:00PM.
